GENERAL: A line-drive hitter who adds depth behind the plate...Came up with big hits in Siena[apos]s inter-squad scrimmages in the fall.
BEFORE SIENA: A four-time letterwinner at Xavier...A former captain who led the team in batting average as a senior en route to an All-State selection.
ROSSI ON IANNOTTI: 'Lou had a great fall, and showed tremendous improvement. He has the tools, he just needs to get stronger. He[apos]ll back up two veterans behind the plate, and he should make the most of his playing time.'
