COACH ROSSI ON HAMEL:
- “Matt received a good amount of playing time in the outfield last season, which can only be helpful coming into this year. He hit .279 with a late year splurge, and needs to get out of the gate quickly this year to be a force. He is versatile and can spell people in the outfield and in the infield. His versatility will enable the staff to make position switches.”
