• Appeared in 32 games, including 13 starts
• Averaged four points, 2.2 rebounds, and 1.0 assists per game
• Scored season-high 13 points vs. Evansville (Feb. 3) 
• Tallied 12 points in MVC Semifinals vs. Southern Illinois (Mar. 3)

2016-17 (AT ILLINOIS STATE)

• Saw action in 15 games off the bench for MVC Regular Season Co-Champions 
• Tallied seven points and three rebounds in 31 total minutes

2015-16 (AT ILLINOIS STATE)

• Red-shirted

HIGH SCHOOL

• 1,000-point scorer at Windermere Preparatory School
• Served as team captain his senior year and averaged 11.0 points while earning All-District acclaim
• Played his AAU basketball for the Orlando Venom, averaging 14.0 points and 9.0 assists per contest, with a 4.5 assist-to-turnover ratio

PERSONAL

• Son of Todd and Maritte Hein
• Father played minor league baseball in the Cleveland Indians organization
• Has a younger brother, Alex, who plays tennis at Randolph-Macon College
• Brother, Daouda (David) N'Diaye, played with Hein for three seasons at Illinois State, and now plays for Southern Utah
• Uncle, Stu Hein, is 1990 Ohio State Hall of Fame inductee (baseball)
