T.J. Bardsley

T.J. Bardsley '15, joined the Siena Men's Lacrosse coaching staff as an assistant on August 4, 2026.
 
The offensive coordinator of the highly potent Division III SUNY Cortland lacrosse teams from 2022-2026 oversaw a consistent top-ranked extra-man opportunity unit in the country (49 to 56% success rate) as well as a team that broke the school record for most goals in a season with 379 in 2025.

From 2024 through 2026, teams under Bardsley secured 12 SUNYAC First Team selections and nine SUNYAC Second Team nods. He was on the coaching staff that earned the SUNYAC Coaching Staff of the Year awards for both 2026 and 2025. Academically, Cortland also tied the school record for the most USILA All-Americans in a single season with eight honors for the 2025 season.

“T.J.'s experience as a player at Siena, combined with the diverse roles he's held at the collegiate level, will provide an immediate boost to our staff and our program. During his playing career, Bardsley was a member of Siena’s 2014 MAAC Championship team as well as a three-time MAAC Regular Season Champion from 2012-2014 and a MAAC Tournament Runner Up in both 2012 and 2013. The 6-foot-1, 205-pound defender appeared in 34 games and gathered a career-high 13 ground balls, caused four turnovers and tallied two goals and two assists during his senior campaign. The MAAC All-Academic Men’s Lacrosse selection was a Franciscan Academic Scholar and earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Marketing. From Loudonville, Bardsley matriculated at Alfred University and earned his Master’s of Business Administration Focused in Sustainability. 
 
Additionally, Bardsley worked as a graduate assistant coach on Alfred’s lacrosse team. From the fall of 2017 through August of 2022, Bardsley was the head men’s lacrosse coach of Thiel College in Greenville, PA where he helped transition the program from the Ohio River Lacrosse Conference (ORLC) to the President’s Athletic Conference (PAC). Among his team’s achievements included two All-Conference First Team awards, four Second Team selections and 12 Honorable Mention Awards and a PAC playoff berth.
