Biography
Collin Parkhurst [apos]14 enters his second season on the Siena Lacrosse coaching staff. Serving as an undergraduate assistant coach during the 2014 season, Parkhurst works primarily with the Saints[apos] face-off unit and goalies and is responsible for overseeing substitutions during the game.
During his first season, Parkhurst helped guide the Saints to an 11-6 overall record and both the MAAC Regular Season and Tournament Championship. The Saints boasted a program record 11 All-MAAC selections and six Second Team All-MAAC honorees and posted seven true road wins which tied for the second most in the nation.
Parkhurst appeared in 59 games making five starts as a midfielder for the Saints from 2010-13 and was a part of Siena[apos]s 2011 MAAC Championship team. He totaled 24 points and picked up 23 groundballs during his career.
A three-time MAAC All-Academic Team selection, Parkhurst was inducted into Siena College[apos]s Sigma Pi Sigma National Honor Society in Physics and nominated for an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship Award.
A native of Croton-on-Hudson, N.Y., Parkhurst was a three-time All-League and two-time All-Section selection at Hendrick Hudson High.
