- Broke school records for total points (103) and goals (61) in a season

- All-time leader in rushing & all-purpose yards in school history for football

- Son of Tom & Christine Rooney
- Has two brothers - Jack and Danny, and two sisters - Katie and Sarah
- Father played lacrosse at the University of Scranton from 1989-93, serving as a team captain his senior year
- Aunt, Sarah Rooney, played basketball at the University of Scranton from 1997-2000
- Cousin, Julia Rooney, also attends Siena
- Majoring in marketing with plans of working in the sports field
- Chose Siena because he wanted a catholic college not far away from home
