Biography

COACH ROSSI ON DUNKEL:
  • “Carson has a strong arm and needs to continue to work on defense. He has shown upside with his offense, and will battle for playing time this season."
2021 (JUNIOR):
  • Played in 18 games with 16 starts behind the dish for 42 at-bats
  • Batted .214 with nine hits, six runs, two doubles, and 11 RBI
  • Held a .262 slugging percentage and a .404 on-base percentage
  • Made 129 putouts for the second-most on the team
2020 (SOPHOMORE):
  • Played in seven games, including six starts and 18 at-bats
  • Batted .222 with four hits, two runs, and one RBI
  • Held a .222 slugging percentage and a .222 on-base percentage

2019 (FRESHMAN):
  • Appeared in 32 games with 24 starts and 66 at-bats

  • Named MVP of the Phil Waring Tournament 
  • Perfect Game Preseason Northeast Region Honorable Mention All-American
  • Twice named to the Perfect Game Super 25 All Tournament Team 
  • Played club baseball for the Hayner Academy Barnstormers
  • Named a Foothills All-Star in both baseball and football
  • Also played basketball and football in high school
  • Named a Class B All-State Honorable Mention and to the Times Union First Team at defensive back in football
