Biography
2020 (SENIOR):
- MAAC All-Acdemic Team & MAAC Academic Honor Roll member
- Preseason All-MAAC selection on defense
- Played in all seven contests, making six starts
- Won 14 draw controls, collected 10 ground balls, and caused seven turnovers
2019 (JUNIOR):
- WLCA Zags Sports Division I Academic Honor Roll member
- Named All-MAAC First Team on Defense
- Named to MAAC All-Tournament Team
- Played and started in all 19 games for the Saints
- Scored three goals on the season, two of which came in her Siena debut at Columbia (2/16)
- Led team in caused turnovers (23)
- Second in draw controls (39)
- Fourth on the team in ground balls (37)
2018 (SOPHOMORE AT BINGHAMTON UNIVERSITY):
- Appeared in nine games, winning four draw controls and grabbing two ground balls
2017 (FRESHMAN AT BINGHAMTON UNIVERSITY):
- Appeared in four contests for the Bearcats
BEFORE COLLEGE:
- Finished at the all-time leading scorer at Vernon-Verona-Sherrill High School
- Helped VVS qualify for the sectional playoffs in the team's first two years as a varsity program
- 2016 Tri-Valley Player of the Year & Team MVP
- Named team MVP after setting a school record with 55 goals in 2015
- 2015 VVS High School Female Athlete of the Year
- Also played soccer & basketball in high school and won multiple team MVP awards
- Six-time McDonalds Player of the Week in basketball
- Two-Time Oneida Dispatch Player of the Week
PERSONAL:
- Born on April 16
- Daughter of Keith & Nancy Pitman
- Has three brothers - Lucas, Issac & Simon, and a sister - Rose
- Brother, Simon, played basketball at St. Francis (PA) during the 2014-15 season
- Sister, Rose, is on the track & cross country teams at SUNY Brockport
- Uncle, Stephen Joseph, played basketball at the University of Scranton from 1980-84
- Cousin, Jamie Joseph, plays soccer at Clark College
- Majoring in english, with plans to become a nurse practitioner
- Chose Siena because of the intimate learning environment
