The Siena Saints lost at home to Quinnipiac, 7-2 today. The Braves started the scoring run with Julie Smith netting a goal, assisted from Sarah Riley with 33:16 left in the first. Three minutes later, Lacee Iselo (Rome, N.Y./Holland Patent) sent a pass to Erin Mead (Chestertown, N.Y./North Warren) who scored for the Saints.
At 27:45 in the first period, Kate Karoglanian (Somers, N.Y./JFK Catholic) scored off a pass from Iselo. That would cap the scoring from the Green and Gold. The Braves Jackie Langstein scored with 12 minutes left in the first half.
In the second half, four Quinnipiac goals put the game away. Heather Cady, Kristen Crosby, and Meredith Klein all scored for the Braves.
The Saints return to the field tomorrow at 12 pm, to face Sacred Heart. Tomorrow is also Senior Day.
