LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - The Siena College women's field hockey team (3-7 Overall/3-5 NEC) was defeated by Monmouth University (7-4 Overall/6-2 NEC) in Northeast Conference action at Saints Field today, 1-0.

The Blue Hawks scored in the second half with 10:31 left. Kristen Haberthur scored the goal from an assist from Kellie Nurko. Monmouth had 14 penalty corners, while holding the Saints to only seven shots.

Siena will travel to University of Vermont for an October 9th game.
