Prior to Saturday night's men's basketball game with Canisius at Pepsi Arena, a banner will be unveiled commemorating last season's MAAC Championship team. Each member of the 2001-2002 Saints will also receive a Championship Ring.

Last year, the Saints rallied from the #7 seed to capture the conference championship in Albany for the first time in school history. Siena then advanced past Alcorn State in the Opening Round of the NCAA Tournament becoming the first team with a losing record to win an NCAA Tournament game in 54 years. The Saints eventually bowed out of the Championships with a 15-point loss to eventual National Champion Maryland.

All graduated members of last year's team have been invited to the game and will be recognized during the ceremony.
