Samantha Stoyer scored two goals and four Lock Haven players found the back of the cage once in a 6-0 shutout of Siena in Lock Haven, Pa. Friday afternoon. Freshman goalie Jennifer Tesak had 14 saves for the Saints in a losing effort as Lock Haven out-shot Siena 38-0.
Blair Wynne got Lock Haven on the board in the 17th minute off a rebound of a shot from the top of the circle. Stoyer scored the second goal off a feed from Jennifer Churetta just over two minutes later as Lock Haven took command of the game. Mandy Alderfer gave the Bald Eagles a 3-0 lead at halftime with an unassisted goal off her own rebound in the 25th minute.
Sarah Huber and Rebecca Steffan joined Stoyer with second half goals for the home team.
Siena looks to get back on track at St. Francis (Pa.) on Sunday in another NEC contest.
