Freshman Sarah Mayer paced Siena's 7-0 win over Monmouth in the Saints' opener, but lost the first match of her career in the nightcap as UAlbany handed the Green and Gold its first loss of the season 4-3. Sophomore transfer Taylor Barvoets remained undefeated with a pair of victories at second singles.

Sophomore Karina Davis also won both of her matches on the day, defeating Kaitlin Gallagher of Monmouth 6-0 and 6-0 and Kim Weltman of Albany 7-6, 5-7 and 10-5.

The Saints also won both of their doubles matches on the day. Siena, now 3-1 on the season, begins MAAC play next Saturday at Rider.
