LOUDONVILLE, NY – New Siena Men's and Women's Tennis Head Coach Justin Roe announced the fall portion of the 2026 schedule on Wednesday.
Coach Roe, last season's Liberty League Coach of the Year with RPI, has each Saints' squad easing into the new season with four tournaments apiece planned.
Roe led the RPI Women's Tennis Team to the Liberty League Championship after defeating Vassar College 4-2 for the title. The Engineers qualified for the NCAA Tournament and defeated Allegheny College 4-0 in the opening round before falling to host and nationally-ranked No. 6 Johns Hopkins in the regional semifinals. The historic run was the team's first-ever NCAA Tournament victory.
Keeping in step with prior season fall schedules, Siena will be taking part in the Metro Master's Tournament in its third year as well as the ITA Regional Championships as two of the signature events of the season.
Both teams will get their seasons underway this coming weekend with the Siena Men traveling to Boston University to take part in the BU Invitational from Sept. 19-20 while the Siena Women will play in the Hofstra Invitational in a three-day event from Friday, Sept. 18 through Sunday, Sept. 20.
The Siena Women will play in the Colgate Invitational on Sept. 26-27.
The Metro Master's Tournament will take place Oct. 2-4 in Hamden, CT on the campus of Quinnipiac University at the QU Tennis Courts for the women's and men's brackets.
The Master's Tournament will determine the men's and women's tennis singles and doubles representatives at the 2026 ITA Conference Masters Championship. The winning individuals and pairs will earn an automatic bid to the 2026 ITA Conference Masters Championship, which will take place from Nov. 5-8 in Rome, Georgia at the hosted Berry College/ Shorter University's Rome Tennis Center.
Four singles players will qualify for the NCAA Singles Championship (semifinalists) and three doubles teams will qualify for the NCAA Doubles Championship through the Conference Masters (champion, finalist, third place). Each NCAA AQ-eligible, Division I conference will designate one singles player and one doubles team from each gender to participate.
On the women's side, the ITA Northeast Regionals will take place from Oct. 8-12 at Yale University's Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center in New Haven, CT. The men's side will be held at Harvard University in Cambridge, MA from Oct. 8-12.
The Siena Men's Tennis Team went 8-10 overall last season including a 3-5 record in conference play and did not qualify for the postseason.
The Siena Women's Tennis Team was 9-10 including 2-6 in conference play. They also did not qualify for postseason play.
