LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - Siena College women's lacrosse named the 2006-07 captains this afternoon. Seniors Leah Ciaccio (Skaneateles, N.Y./Skaneateles), Christina Pampalone (East Northport, N.Y./Commack) and Corey Fink (Sayville, N.Y./Sayville) will guide the Saints into the 2007 season.

Pampalone led the Saints in scoring last season with 31 points. In her career, Pampalone has started 48 of 52 games and has tallied 108 career points. In 2005, she earned All-MAAC First Team honors. Ciaccio and Fink have anchored the Siena defense over the past three seasons wearing the Green and Gold. Last season, they combined for 86 groundballs.

The Saints look to rebound from a 2-15 record last season. Siena's state-of-the-art turf field will debut this spring allowing the Saints to begin their home schedule earlier than in recent years.
