Dobrzynski Earns Second Team Academic All-America Status

Former Women's Lacrosse Standout Becomes Program’s First Academic All-American

LOUDONVILLE, NY - Recent Siena Women's Lacrosse graduate Grace Dobrzynski was one of 46 student-athletes across NCAA Division I to be named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America Women's At-Large team, as announced by the CSC Tuesday.
 
With the recognition, Dobrzynski becomes the 21st Academic All-American in Siena Athletics history, as well as the first in Siena Women's Lacrosse history. She was one of just five lacrosse players named to the CSC Division I At-Large team and part of the 0.2% of NCAA, NAIA, & NJCAA at-large women's student-athletes to earn the title of Academic All-American. Additionally, she was one of 19 honorees to hold a perfect 4.0 GPA.
 
Dobrzynski graduated with a degree in biology, and has been honored as both a 2024-25 Allstate NACDA Goodworks Team selection and a 2025 Capital District Sports Women of the Year selection. A three-time (2023, 2024, 2025) CSC At-Large Academic All-District Team selection, she was the February 2025 Siena College Leo and Jeannine Dufort Female Student Athlete of the Month, and has been accepted into the Siena and Albany Medical College bridge program to pursue becoming a doctor. Impressively, Dobrzynski has been named to the MAAC All-Academic Team and Academic Honor Roll in each year of eligibility. 
 
On the field, the West Greenwich, RI, product ended her storied career as program's all-time leader in both points (256 – fifth most in MAAC history) and assists (174 – second most in MAAC history). She led the MAAC in assists per game (2.00) and ranked sixth in points per game (3.44) this spring while also registering a career-high three hat tricks. The two-time reigning Siena Female Student Athlete of the Year also secured First Team All-MAAC and MAAC All-Tournament Team honors this past season.
