Final Stats
Loudonville, NY-- The Siena water polo team fell to Marist College, 6-4 and Wagner 22-9, Saturday afternoon in a MAAC contest at the Siena Pool. The Saints, led by freshman Lauren Garrigan five goals and junior Kaedy Graves 11 saves, are now 5-17-1 overall and 0-2 in the MAAC.
In a physical contest that saw 13 ejections, seven from the Saints, Siena was led by two goals from Garrigan against the Red Foxes. As a team, the team combined for 20 shots, but only able to connect on four. Against Wagner, the Saints committed 14 turnovers, but assisted on eight of the nine goals scored. The 22 goals are the most the Saints have given up since the program started.
In a pre-game ceremony against Wagner, seniors Shanna Allen and Lauren Earl were honored on senior day. In there last home games, both Allen and Earl were held scoreless.
The Saints are back in action tomorrow as they travel to face Villanova (9 a.m.) and St. Francis (3 p.m.)
