Final Stats

The Siena women's tennis team posted a 7-0 win over Hartford Wednesday at the Tri City Racquet Club in Latham. The match was moved indoors due to the threat of inclement weather, so the teams played six super set singles matches, followed by the doubles competition.

"This was a good win for us," head coach Andy Christodolou said. "The ladies are starting to realize that if you put the effort in on the practice court, and do the drills with match like intensity, it is much easier to execute in a live match situation. Everyone played well."

The Saints won all six singles competitions, and took two of three doubles matches to pick up the doubles point. Siena has won both its dual matches this season, and closes out the fall next Saturday at Bryant.
