LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - Siena Women's Basketball opens its final homestand of the season - a crucial two game stretch this weekend - when the Saints host Manhattan at 7 p.m. tonight at the ARC. Gameday Central coverage begins at 7 p.m. right here on SienaSaints.com.
Tonight is Cristina Centeno Bobblehead Doll Night and the first 300 fans in attendance will receive a bobblehead. Tickets are just $6 for adults and $3 for children age 13 and under.
This evening's matchup vs. Manhattan (14-12, 8-6) begins a pivotal stretch for the Saints (8-15, 6-8) to close out the regular season. Siena enters tonight in a three-way tie for sixth place in the MAAC Standings with both Canisius and Iona and is just two games back of the third place Jaspers.
After hosting Rider for Senior Day Sunday, the Saints travel to Western New York next weekend for games against Niagara, which is currently just one game ahead of the Saints, and Canisius.
But first comes a meeting with Manhattan which historically has been an ultra-competitive matchup of late. The teams have split the past 22 meetings evenly with neither team ever winning more than two in a row. Manhattan has won two straight in the series entering tonight.
