Siena's Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will host its second annual Student Athlete Talent Show for the benefit of Special Olympics New York this Friday night at 7 p.m. in Alumni Recreation Center. The event will also be webstreamed at SienaSaints.com with a portion of the proceeds ($6 fee) being donated to Special Olympics New York.
Each of Siena's 18 Division I sports teams will perform on stage. Admission is free and the general public is encouraged to attend. Donations will be accepted at the door, and a raffle will be held to benefit Special Olympics New York.
Last year, volleyball stole the show with a laser light show, while baseball's comedy/music act came in second place, and the men's cross country team's martial arts performance yielded third place.
The event raised $1,000 for Special Olympics.
