LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - The season premiere of the Siena Basketball Coaches' Show aired Thursday night from 6-7 p.m. in the Capital Region on WVCR 88.3 FM "The Saint" and online at SienaAllAccess.com and iHeartRadio. The show featured interviews with coaches Jimmy Patsos and Ali Jaques and student athletes Brett Bisping and Tehresa Coles.
Hosted by the "Voice of the Saints" Robert Lee and women's basketball broadcaster Mike Demos, the hour-long show airs each and every Thursday night from 6-7 p.m. throughout the season with the exceptions of the weeks of Thanksgiving (Nov. 28) and Christmas (Dec. 26).
All shows can be listened to throughout the Capital Region on the home for Siena Women's Basketball WVCR 88.3 FM "The Saint" and online FREE at SienaAllAccess.com and iHeartRadio. WVCR is one of just 28 college radio stations carried by iHeartRadio and all WVCR programming including women's basketball broadcasts and Coaches' Shows can be listened to online at iHeartRadio and through mobile devices on the iHeartRadio app.
The women's portion with Jaques airs weekly from 6-6:30 p.m. while the men's portion with Patsos airs from 6:30-7 p.m. Each week, a different student athlete from each team will also guest appear on the show, with Bisping and Coles featured tonight.
Both teams open their respective 2013-14 seasons Friday night with the annual Albany Cup showdown against crosstown rival UAlbany at the Times Union Center. The women's game tips at 5 p.m. with the men's game scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. To buy tickets, CLICK HERE
