Swimming and Diving Continue Towards Championship

The Swimming and Diving team continues their team success at the ECAC Championships. The Saints are currently third after 16 events with a total of 392 points.

Captain Amanda York had a personal best by winning the ECAC Championship in the 200-yard Fly. York finished the event in 2:09.66.

Siena would gain ground on the competition with two top-10 finishes in the 200-yard Backstroke. Dory Miller finished fourth with a time of 2:10.59 and freshmen Emily Hovey finished seventh with a time of 2:11.60.

Kelsey Helin earned the Saints fourth top-10 finish on the day in the 200-yard Breast. Helin finished sixth with a time of 2:27.81.

Siena's fifth top-10 finish came from the 800-yard Free relay team of Jacque Medina, Maggie Fletcher, Shannon Love and Emily Carideo. The team finished in second place with a time of 7:49.84.

The ECAC Championships conclude tomorrow, Sunday, December 8 with a 10:00 a.m. start.
