With a two person advantage, Rutgers scored twice in less than a minute when Katie Champion and Rachel Yaney each scored on balls in front of an open net to increase their lead 4-1.

Mary Drabich started for the Saints in the box, giving up four goals and recording seven saves before Senior Beth Meyers finished the final 16 minutes for the Saints, recording one save.
