Siena junior guard Rob Poole enjoyed some sightseeing with his teammates on their recent trip to Montreal. They checked out Notre Dame Basilica and Saint Joseph's Oratory, two renowned churches in the area.

"That was cool," Poole observed.

Poole met some of the locals, who could have been friendlier.

"Everybody speaks French," Poole reported. "I thought they got annoyed when you speak English, so that kind of stinks."

But Poole wasn't in Quebec to write a travelogue. He was there to get an early start to the season, and in that sense, he was resoundingly successful.
