Round One Individual Results

The Siena Men's Golf team finished round one of the Connecticut Cup in ninth place. Round two was suspended for darkness halfway through and will resume tomorrow morning with round three to follow shortly after.

Spencer Sautin leads all Siena golfers finishing the first round tied for 26th out of 89 golfers. Louis Walsh, Scott Kim, and Michael Shine finished one stroke behind Sautin and tied for 37th overall. Michael Christifulli rounded the Saints five, as all five Siena golfers finished within two strokes of each other.

The Saints ended round one ninth of the 15 teams competing. They currently sit one stroke behind MAAC foes Iona and Fairfield. There are a total of six MAAC schools participating with Hartford and St. Peters placing second and third, respectively, and Rider finishing the first round 13th.

Last year the Saints finished the Cup 13th with Shine leading the way finishing tied for 25th.
