Final Stats

Siena won five of six singles matches to post a 5-2 MAAC win over Manhattan Saturday in Latham. MAAC Player of the Week Ali Garrity had a strong 6-4, 6-0 win at top singles and paired with fellow freshman Mitsuki Fukamachi for an 8-2 win at No. 2 doubles.

The Jaspers (4-3, 2-1 MAAC) started off strongly, winning the doubles point, but the Saints (5-6, 2-0 MAAC) rallied smartly in singles play.

"This is a good conference win," Siena coach Andy Christodoulou said. "We still need to work on our doubles play, and we will do that this week."

Allysa Singh, Fukamachi, Jessica Macaluso and Cassandra Braz each posted singles victories for the Saints.
