Michael Shine Finishes Second in Navy Invite

The men's golf team completed their final tune up before the MAAC Tournament in Orlando, Fla. The men finished tenth after the two round Tournament concluded late Saturday afternoon in Annapolis, Md. Michael Shine (-1) finished three strokes behind the leader in second place after shooting a 71.

Joe Gunerman of Towson won the individual medalist with a -3 overall and Towson won the overall team award with a 584.

Lou Walsh finished second on team, in 48th place after shooting a 78 and 77 in the two rounds, respectively.

Brendan Quintana and Scott Kim both finished tied in the 58th position. Quintana shot a 78 and 79 for a total 157. Kim earned his 157 by shooting a 79 in the first round and a 78 in the second round.

Riley McGraw rounds out the final scoring for the Saints as he shot a consistent 84 in both rounds of the Navy Invitational to finish with a 168.

Up next for the Saints is the 2014 MAAC Championships in Orlando, Fla. on April 24-27.
