LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - Siena Men's Tennis competed in the three-day UConn Invitational over the weekend in Storrs, Conn. Freshman Diego Lebron picked up the lone win for the Saints, capturing his Flight "B" main draw.

Lebron defeated Bentley's Evan Chomka 7-6 (5), 6-4 before falling in the Second Round of the main draw, 6-1, 6-1 to UConn's Jonathan Edwards.

Lebron and senior Eric Sumanaru came close in their doubles match before being edged by the Huskies' tandem of Jacob Spreyer and Chris Toner 8-5.

Senior Matthew Funiciello and freshmen Joe Diorio and Alessandro Saglia each won their first consolation matches before being eliminated in the semifinal round of the event which included eight teams.

The Saints are back in action Sunday when they host St. Francis (N.Y.) at noon.
