Siena Field Hockey lost their second game today, as they fell to Kent State 6-0 in a neutral site game in Burlington, Vt.
After a slow first half which saw Kent State outshoot the Saints 8-0, the Siena offense showed strong in the second half, posting their first three shots of the season and drawing 6 penalty corners. The Saints gave Golden Flashes goalie Andrea Rinehart all she could handle, as Megan Bohse, Gabrielle Sullivan and Danielle DeGroot recorded shots within a 14-minute span.
Missy Ramsey and Madison Thompson both scored two goals for Kent State, who won their first game of the season.
Up next for the Saints is their home opener against Villanova University, Sunday at 1 pm.
