Individual Results 
The Siena Swimming and Diving team captured the ECAC Championships Sunday besting second place finisher Pace University by 565.6 points. The squad captured the title for the first time in the school history after finishing third twice in the last 3 years.
"This is a great accomplishment for Siena Swimming and Diving," said head coach Paul Kueterman. "The team swam and dove so well. It is a testament to their belief in one another, their positive attitudes and hard work. I'm really proud of them!"
The day began with a third place finish in the 400 Yard Medley Relay when the team of Theresa Cotter, Erica Askew, Elizabeth Fournier and Maggie Davenport swam a time of 4:02.42.
Freshman Emma Rupert then took second in the 500 Free in a time of 5:13.58. Other notable performances of the final day of the championships would be Francesca Tinucci finishing fifth in the 50 Free in a time of 25.03. Tinucci was accompanied by Colleen McDonough in the top ten, finishing ninth in a time of 25.29.
The top finishing Saint in the 200 IM was Fiona Dretza, finishing second in a time of 2:11.26. Cotter finished two spots behind her in a time of 2:13.19.
In the final event of the Championships, Tinucci, Maggie Fletcher, Emily Carideo and Davenport took second in the 400 Freestyle Relay in a time of 3:38.95.
Kueterman was named the Women's Coach of the Meet after the Saints' captured the title.
Siena returns to the pool on January 16, 2016 when the Saints are set to square off against LIU Post in Brookville, N.Y. The meet is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
