The Siena Men's Golf team finished 22nd in the Whiting-Turner Towson Invitational this weekend in Grasonville, Md. Weather conditions on the weekend made play very difficult for all players.
With day one wind chills around 25 degrees as well as 15 mph winds, and day two conditions not much better, the Saints were competing against the weather as much as they were competing against the other players. The top two Siena golfers Michael Shine and Scott Kim finished tied for 75th.
The Saints as a team finished 22nd. The other MAAC-competing teams Saint Peter's and Fairfield finished 11th and 13th, respectively. Arkansas took the team crown by 16 strokes while, Lloyd Jeffer Go from Seton Hall took the individual crown by a single stroke.
The Saints have one more competitive tournament before the MAAC Championships, competing in the Lafayette Spring Invitational April 4th-6th.
