The Siena women's tennis team shook off a heartbreaking loss less than 12 hours earlier to defeat Saint Peter's 6-1 on Senior Day Saturday at Schenectady's Central Park. Seniors Jessica Macaluso and Cassandra Braz were honored before the match.

The Saints swept the doubles point and won five of six singles contests to pull past the Peacocks in the MAAC standings.

Ali Garrity won 6-2 and 6-0 at top singles, and Mitsuki Fukamachi followed with a 6-1 and 6-2 victory at No. 2 singles.

The red-hot Allysa Singh continued her dominant spring with a 6-4 and 6-0 victory at No. 3 singles - her ninth straight win and team-best 16th of the season.

The Saints play their third match in as many days tomorrow at Quinnipiac.
