Loudonville, N.Y.- Selena Adamshick scored a hat trick and added an assist to lead Saint Francis past Siena Field Hockey, 5-0. Brianna Govia and Hannah Retherford added the last two goals for the Red Flash.

Saint Francis outshot Siena 21-2 and held a big margin in corners. Senior goalkeeper Mary Drabich added 12 saves for the Saints.

The Red Flash got on the board when Govia received a pass from Adamshick that came across the middle of the circle and was deflected in by Govia ('23). Two minutes later, Adamshick tallied the first of her three goals. She would then add the next two goals for Saint Francis to record her hat trick in just the 40th minute. The Saints were led by Sage Stebbins and Aubrie Bleier, who each recorded one shot.

Saint Francis would add their final goal of the contest when Retherford connected on a rebound that deflected off Drabich right in front of the goal and she deposited it in the back of the net (47').

Siena (1-3) returns to action on Sunday, Sept. 13 for a 12 p.m. start at home against Lock Haven, before embarking on a six-game road trip beginning on Saturday, Sept 19 with a neutral site game against the University of Maine held in Burlington, Vt. The game is scheduled to start at 1:30 p.m.
