Final Stats

Samantha Wegg added two goals and five other Black Bears added tallies for Maine as they rallied past Siena Field Hockey, 7-1. Ashley Dona added her first goal of the game and season for the Saints. Fabiana Citro led Siena with four shots.

Dona got Siena on the board when ('13) she shot from the top of the circle on a pass from Kate Gillespie. Gillespie recorded her first assist of the 2015 season.

Maine entered the half with a 3-1 lead, but then added four more goals in the second half to cap off the victory.

Mary Drabich made three saves in goal for the Saints. Emily Corbett made one save in goal for the Black Bears.

Siena (1-5) returns to action tomorrow Sept. 19 at noon when they their second game of the Catamount Classic at Vermont.
