Final Stats

Molly Higgins scored two goals and Anne Marie-Farmer added a tally as Vermont rallied past Siena Field Hockey 3-0 in their final game of the Catamount Classic. Ashley Dona led the Saints with two shots. Three other Siena players recorded a shot.

Siena (1-6) held a 4-3 edge in corners while Vermont held a 9-6 edge in shots. Goalkeeper Mary Drabich made one save in goal.

Vermont got on the board (8') when Molly Higgins scored an unassisted goal, recording her team-leading fifth goal of the season.

The Catamounts would add their second goal of the contest when Anne-Marie Farmer scored on a pass from Lauren Tucker (52'). Farmer would be in the action on the third goal when she directed a pass to Higgins and she tipped it in from the middle of the circle.

Siena returns to action when they travel to Villanova on Fri. Sept. 25. The game is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
