Loudonville, N.Y.- Senior Sage Stebbins scored two goals as Siena Field Hockey tops Colgate 2-0. The win was their first of the 2015 campaign.

Siena (1-2) held a dominant 21-5 edge in shots, while the Saints also held a 12-6 edge in corners. Mary Drabich made three saves in her first shutout of the season.

The Saints and Stebbins got on the board (6') when she received a pass from freshman Marie Aloi. The goal was her first of the season and third of her career. On the goal, Aloi picked up the second assist of her career.

Stebbins scored once again when the ball was deflected on an entry pass from outside the circle (13') from Aloi. The second goal of the day for Stebbins was the fourth of her career and Aloi recorded her second career assist.

Colgate goalkeeper Maria Krull made 11 saves between the pipes for the Raiders. Colgate held an 11-3 edge in saves for the contest. For the Raiders, Cady Copsky led the team with two shots, both shots being on goal.

Siena returns to action Sat. Sept. 12 when they host Saint Francis (Pa.) at Siena Turf Field. The game is slated to start at 1 p.m.
