Saints Slip Two Spots

The Siena men's golf team slipped two spots on the team leaderboard as the Saints finished 13th at the Wildcat Invitational. Siena was tied with Monmouth on the final leaderboard as the highest placing MAAC team in the tournament field.

Cleveland State jumped seven spots from day one to day two to capture the tournament crown. Lehigh joined the Vikings as the biggest movers on the final day of the invitational. The Mountain Hawks finished in second place after they climbed eight spots. Day one leader Wagner finished in third. Villanova, Binghamton and La Salle tied for fourth while Delaware closed out the top five team scores.

Four of the five Siena players were separated by just two strokes. Spencer Sautin led the way for the Saints after he shot a final round 76. Scott Kim and Michael Christifulli were tied for second for Siena after they shot identical scores of 77. Michael Shine and Matthew Parrottino closed out the tournament scoring for the Saints.

Siena returns to the course Saturday when they open up play at the Towson Spring Invitational.
