Siena women's tennis suffered a 5-2 loss to Loyola (Md.) on Sunday at Watervliet High School. The Greyhounds won the first two doubles by scores of 7-5. After the match, the team honored their two seniors: Allysa Singh and Erika Reagan in a special ceremony.
The Saints went on to win two of the six singles matches. Mitsuki Fukamachi captured her match at second singles in three sets. She won the final set by a final of 6-3 after dropping the previous set. Allysa Singh continued her strong play in singles after the senior won in straight sets, 6-4, 6-1.
Siena enters a pivotal stretch of matches in the coming week. The Saints will next host MAAC frontrunner Quinnipiac Saturday at WHS at 11:30 a.m.
