April 23, 2016 Final Stats
Siena women's tennis hosted first place Quinnipiac Saturday as the Bobcats bested the Saints by a final of 6-1. Allysa Singh recorded the lone win for Siena at fourth singles. The senior captured the match in three sets after dropping the first set 6-1. She went on to win the following sets 6-3, 6-3. Ali Garrity and Mitsuki Fukamachi teamed up for a 6-4 win at first doubles, but Siena was unable to capture that elusive second doubles point.
"I was very proud of how the girls fought hard today," said Siena head coach Jeff Osborn. "Every single court could have went either way and that is good going into MAAC's next weekend."
In singles play, four of the six matches went three sets. Rina Sakai, Mitsuki Fukamachi and Natalie Weaver each captured a set at their respective singles spots
