Final Stats

Siena women's tennis secured the two seed for the upcoming MAAC Tournament with a 7-0 sweep of Saint Peter's on Sunday. The Saints won all three doubles matches and then went on to take all six singles points to record the convincing win.

In the doubles portion of the competition, Siena only surrendered one game in the three matches. Second and third doubles won with 6-0 sweeps while Ali Garrity and Mitsuki Fukamachi teamed up at the top doubles spot to win 6-1.

Moving into singles, the Saints continued their strong play. Garrity pulled out a tight first set 7-5 at the top singles position and then blanked the second set, 6-0. Natalie Weaver gave up only two games in a 6-1, 6-1 win at fifth singles

The Saints will now move into the MAAC Tournament which begins Saturday in West Windsor, N.J. , their first appearance since 2011. Siena will play Marist in their first round matchup.
