LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - Siena Women's Tennis remains undefeated and improves to 8-0 on the season with a 6-1 victory over Binghamton. The Saints avenged a 4-3 loss to the Bearcats last season.
Siena started off strong taking wins on all three doubles courts for a 1-0 lead heading into doubles.
In singles play, Ali Garrity was up 5-0 before her opponent retired due to an injury. Natalie Weaver on court six won in straight sets to put the Saints up 3-0. Natalie Weaver clinched the point for the Saints as she took down her opponent in straight sets on court four. On court two, Ivana Boberic showed a lot of strength and picked up a win on court two in three sets.
The Saints take on Sacred Heart on Friday, Mar. 17 at 3 p.m. at TriCity.
