Final Stats

Siena Field Hockey fell to UMass Lowell 1-0 in a nonconference matchup on Sunday afternoon. Sophomore goalie Mary Crumlish played a strong defensive game for the Saints recording ten saves in goal.

River Hawks (5-5) were coming off of a narrow 4-3 loss to 12th ranked Stanford on Thursday afternoon before taking on Siena (0-9) Sunday.

UMass Lowell's Katie Lyne would score the lone goal within the first 10 minutes of play by tipping in a rebound. Saints would look to capitalize in the second half and came close within four shot attempts in the last 12 minutes of play. However, Siena would not be able to score on the River Hawks.

Siena returns back home in one week to host LaSalle at 12 p.m.
