The Siena Women's Tennis team concluded their fall season at the ITA Championships in New Haven, Connecticut as Yale played host to the tournament. Freshman
Meagan Brown competed in the singles bracket, while freshman
Dilara Spicer and sophomore
Nanea Perkins took to the court in the doubles bracket.
In doubles, Spicer and Perkins took home the only Saints win on the day, defeating Jean-Na Koo and Ana Orozco from St. Francis of Brooklyn 8-4 to open the day. The pair would then fall in their second match, 8-3 to Tess Fisher and Kat Muzik of Rutgers.
In singles, Brown was squared up with Raissa Lou of host Yale. Lou would best Brown in the matchup, as Brown fell 6-2, 6-1 to put a finish on the fall season.
"It has been a great fall season," said head coach
Jeff Osborn. "I look forward to January when our championship season begins."
The Saints return to the court on Jan. 25 when they face Colgate to open their spring championship season.
