The Siena Saints Men's and Women's Cross Country team competed in the CCSU Mini Meet, held at Central Connecticut University. The event precedes the Saints action next weekend, as the MAAC Championship will conclude the fall season for the green and gold.
For the men, they would put up an eighth place finish as a team in the 5K, led by an 18
th place finish by junior
Michael Rautter. He would run a time of 15:26.5, setting the pace for Siena.
Luciano Fiore and
Jacob Greski rounded out the top three for the Saints.
On the women's side, freshman
Holly Bednarek was the top finisher, as
Allison Hill,
Shannon Bergin, and
Hannah Gallagher also competed as the Saints did not grab a team score.
The Saints return to the course next Saturday, October 27 as Siena will play host to the MAAC Championship held at The Crossings of Colonie. The first race kicks off at 11 a.m.
