Mary McNally finished first and second in the Women's JV race at the James Earley Invitational hosted by Westfield State University. Their finishes would lead the Saints, with no team scoring for the men's or women's race.
Wright was the only runner in the field with a sub-20 minute time in the 6K race, coming in at 19:58.61 to take the victory. McNally came in just two seconds later, coming in at 20:00.57 in her second place finish. The other finisher for the Saints was freshman
Megan Linendoll, who also had a top 10 finish with a ninth place finish with a time of 20:28.56.
Not to be outdone on the men's side, junior Matthew Jacques took home a second place finish with a time of 27:43.44 in the 8K. The other finish for the Saints was sophomore
Chris Estremera, who capped the Saints finishes with a 10
th place result with a time of 29:06.85.
The Saints return to the course Friday, October 12 when they head across town to take part in the Great Dane Invitational, hosted by the University of Albany. Races will begin beginning at 11:45 a.m.
