Jimmy Ratliff scored a career-high 16 points off the bench to lead the Saints.
Reserve Nelson Caputo led four in double figures with a career-high 21 points on 8-11 shooting including 5-6 from three for St. Bonaventure (4-5) which claimed its third straight Franciscan Cup, and improved to 6-3 in the series since the trophy was devised by the schools' presidents to commemorate the annual renewal of the rivalry in 2010.
Ratliff came off the bench to score 13 of his points in the second half, and shot 5-7 overall including 4-6 from three.
Manny Camper and
Sammy Friday IV added seven points apiece for Siena (3-6) which shot just 32.6% from the field after having connected at a 50.9% clip over its previous three contests.
St. Bonaventure used its first half surge to claim a 42-16 lead at the break. The Bonnies ended the game equally strong, finishing on a 26-7 run.
Atlantic 10 Preseason Second Team selection Courtney Stockard tallied 17 points and nine rebounds for St. Bonaventure which has now won its past three games by an average margin of 28 points. Jalen Poyser and Osun Osunniyi chipped in with 13 points apiece for the Bonnies which shot 56% overall including 65% in the second half.
The Saints will look to bounce back Saturday when they travel to Robert Morris for a 4 p.m. matchup.
