The Siena Women's Tennis team closed their opening weekend strong, as freshman Megan Brown won her final match in the back draw, setting the tone for the rest of the season for the squad.
Brown defeated Northern Kentucky's Elizabeth Rozin (3-6, 6-3, 10-6) for the championship in the back draw in Draw #3. Other Saints in action were

Nanea Perkins also saw action, losing in the main draw final to Denise Buberl (6-2, 6-3) of Lipscomb. Lastly,
Juliana Goehner dropped to Brittney Wilbur (7-5, 6-0) from Wofford.
In doubles, Mullaney and Brown dropped their first match against Stephanie Miller and Lucia Seigford of Saint Francis, but were able to bounce back and win their second match of the day to claim third place. They would beat Millie Khoury and Zenice Charles-Hall of Western Kentucky (6-2).
Anessa Leyva and
Dilara Spicer dropped their doubles match to Wilbur and Hildell (6-3) of Wofford.
