The Siena Saints look to bounce back after tough back-to-back losses in MAAC play, as they now look ahead to begin a new winning streak against the Monmouth Hawks Saturday afternoon. The Green and Gold defeated Monmouth last time these two teams played, scoring five points to outlast the Hawks 44-41 in Loudonville last season.

Ten things to know for Saturday's game versus Monmouth:
- The Saints fell to Marist Thursday evening, 88-59, on Poughkeepsie, dropping them to 3-2 in conference play. Redshirt senior Aaliyah Jones's 16 points led the team and gave her a season high in the loss, while freshman Amari Anthony set a new career mark with 15 points.
- The team attempted 26 three-point shots in Thursday, their most since firing off 27 trey attempts on Nov. 29, 2017 at Colgate.
- Siena has accumulated a 289-213 (.577) record in MAAC play all-time, including a 59-66 (.492) outcome under head coach Ali Jaques.
- In her seventh season as Siena's Head Coach, Ali Jaques holds a 96-110 all-time record, including a 59-62 mark in MAAC play. Jaques is inching closer to becoming the third coach in program history to eclipse the 100-win threshold and the second to reach 60 wins in conference play.
- For the second consecutive year, Siena was picked to finish third in the MAAC in the Preseason Coaches' Poll, with Maddie Sims (Second Team) and Aaliyah Jones (Third Team) earning Preseason All-MAAC honors.
- Adding three assists to her total on Thursday senior Deja Rawls moved into sole possession of 18th all-time in program history in assists with 278. Rawls needs one help to tie Sinead McLoughlin 1995-99, 279) for 17th.
- With 71 rejections to her name, Maddie Sims needs seven more blocks to enter the all-time top-10 in program history.
- Maddie Sims currently leads all players in the MAAC in double-doubles, with five so far this season, including three in conference play.
- In a series that dates back to 1980, Siena is 10-9 all-time against Monmouth, who joined the MAAC prior to the 2013-14 season. The Saints have won seven straight over the Hawks, including last year's only meeting between the squads, 44-41, on Feb. 5, 2018 in Loudonville.
- Junior Maddie Sims became the first Siena player to earn a MAAC weekly honor this season when she was named the conference's Player of the Week on Dec. 17. The accolade came after the Mount Laurel, N.J. native recorded her third double-double of the year, which propelled the team to a non-conference win over UMass on Dec. 16.
