The Siena Saints women's track and field team took to the track on Friday evening, as they participated in Day One of the John Thomas Terrier Invitational, hosted by Boston University.
The top finisher for the women was senior
Sarah Forman, who took home a sixth place finish in the women's mile run. Forman's time would end up behind 4:50.39 in the finals of the event, while
Morgan Serkes finished in 40
th in the event as well with a time of 5:07.94. In the 5000m run, both Camryn and
Sydney Johnson finished back-to-back in 19
th and 20
th with times of 17:26.12 and 17:26.47.
Carolyn Pellegrini also finished well in the 5000m, coming in 26
th with a 17:50.81. In the 1000m run,
Allison Hill led the way with a 41
st overall finish in the event with a time of 3:10.85.
Monica Strain would lead the Saints in the 3000m run, with a time of 10:24.45 and a 51
st place finish.
The men's squad takes to the track tomorrow for Day Two of the event, with the Saints kicking things off at 11:22 with the first event featuring a Siena athlete.
