Junior Brenden Johnson also scored twice, with reigning MAAC Offensive Player of the Week Jack Kiernan collecting a single goal on the day. Graduate student Aaron Lewis made six saves in net, as he grabbed his fifth win of the season.

The Bobcats are  5-3 overall this season, and hold a 2-0 record in the MAAC. Quinnipiac lost their first three game sof the season before winning their last five games, which included a tough fought 17-16 overtime win over Hartford on March 19, and a win over St. Bonaventure for their second MAAC win in a 12-7 victory.

Siena and Quinnipiac are meeting for the 11th time overall, as the series sits tied at 5-5. The Bobcats claimed the last victory, topping the Saints 12-11 last year on March 17, 2018.
